“C가 없는 빈집은 어쩐지 시끄럽다. 언제부터 있었는지 모르는 Z와 혼자만의 의심을 참지 못하고 이곳에 쳐들어온 M 때문이다. 둘은 부재중인 C를 떠올리며 각자의 타임라인 속에서 고민을 쏟아낸다. 이미 사랑에 빠진 세 인물 Z, M, C의 말들은 극 안에서 일련의 시간동안만 교차한다. 길을 걷다 본 자동차 번호판의 숫자를 이유로, 새벽 골목에서 본 검은 고양이를 이유로 그날의 선택은 달라지곤 한다. 이처럼 Z와 M이 꺼내놓은 이야기는 우연히 쳐다 본 시계가 가리키는 숫자, 평소보다 느리게 떨어지는 듯한 포도알과 같은 풍경이 된다. (중략) …사랑은 설명할 수 없는 기분이다. 실증적인 사건들보다 더 많은 것을 좌우하는 것은 그때의 감각이다. 완전히 다른 차원에 존재하고 있는 서로를 이해하는 것은 사랑하는 연인을 이해하는 것보다 어쩌면 쉬울 수도 있다. 어떻게 말해도 해소될 수 없는 사랑의 말들은 돌고 돈다. 로맨스에 포함된 모든 이들이 고립된 이 빈 집안에서.”(핸드아웃 발췌)
heartXmindZ의 ringringring반지가락지고리는 연희동 플랫폼팜파의 창작지원프로그램 〈등장〉을 통해 발표 공간을 지원받아 만들어졌다. 본 기획은 1층의 〈외계인X강화도〉, 3층의 〈1000전야〉;를 오가는 1시간 30분 가량의 퍼포먼스와 그 흔적을 전시하는 것으로 구성되었으며, 퍼포먼스는 1주일의 기간 동안 총 2회 진행되었다. 퍼포먼스는 연인이 떠난 빈집에 들른 M이라는 인물의 상대의 외도를 의심하며 위층으로 떠나고, 그 공간에 남은 Z1이 퍼포먼스를 진행하며(외계인X강화도, 1시간 30분), 그리고 좌절하여 짐을 싸서 어딘가로 도피하려는 M(1000전야, 30분)이 또다른 Z와 만나는 두 개의 극으로 구성되어 있다. 〈외계인X강화도〉가 30분 진행된 후 관객들이 3층으로 올라가 〈1000전야〉를 감상하게 짜여졌다. 관객이 빠진 1층에서, 1시간 가량 퍼포먼스는 더 진행된다.
“The empty house without C feels strangely loud. It is because of Z, whose presence no one knows the origin of, and M, who storms into the house unable to suppress private suspicions. Recalling the absent C, the two pour out their anxieties from within their own timelines. The words exchanged by Z, M, and C—three figures already entangled in love—intersect only for a limited duration within the play. A choice may change because of the numbers glimpsed on a passing license plate, or because of a black cat seen in an alley at dawn. In this way, the stories unfolded by Z and M become landscapes: the numbers on a clock accidentally glanced at, or grapes that appear to fall more slowly than usual. (…) Love is a feeling that cannot be explained. What determines more than empirical events is the sensation of that moment. Understanding one another while existing in entirely different dimensions may perhaps be easier than understanding a lover. Words of love that cannot be resolved no matter how they are spoken continue to circle endlessly. In this empty house where everyone within the romance remains isolated.”

heartXmindZ’s ringringring banjigarakjigori was produced with exhibition support through Platform Pampa’s creative support program Appearance in Yeonhui-dong. The project consisted of a one-hour-and-thirty-minute performance moving between 〈Alien X Ganghwado〉 on the first floor and 〈Before 1000 Nights〉 on the third floor, alongside an exhibition of its traces. The performance was staged twice over the course of one week.
The work unfolds through two connected theatrical structures. In the first, M—who visits the empty house left behind by a lover—suspects infidelity and departs upstairs, while the remaining figure Z1 performs within the space (〈Alien X Ganghwado〉, 1 hour 30 minutes). In the second, M, having fallen into despair and attempting to escape somewhere with packed belongings (〈Before 1000 Nights〉, 30 minutes), encounters another Z. After 〈Alien X Ganghwado〉 had progressed for thirty minutes, audiences were guided upstairs to watch 〈Before 1000 Nights〉. Meanwhile, on the now-empty first floor, the performance continued for approximately another hour.
